About My Practice

Tarot was a safe space during all of the times I've been exploring my gender and sexuality. The cards were blunt with me when I was burying hard stuff I needed to face and overcome. They've also been a method for quick grounding or even a sarcastic laugh at my own expense, when that's been what I needed. I've seen the way tarot holds space when there are no quick answers and the way it cuts to the chase when there are. These are the things I strive to pass on to clients and students.

As such, my approach to the cards is eclectic, thoughtful, and compassionate. I'm flexible in terms of client needs - it takes a lot to make me balk at a question or refuse to answer it. That being said, I'm not well-suited for clients or students who are super tied to the societal status quo. I strive for accurate and honest readings like any good pro, but I try to keep it full of love and joy when possible.

Favorite Decks

When It Comes to Clients Or Students

I go into this business with an open mind and open heart. I am eager to learn more about you & the cards with every passing reading or lesson. Information, evolution and the way they work together are two of my biggest tried and true values. My values in life are specifically focused on creating positive change and a love of humanity in all I do. I further focus on liberation for the marginalized, the line between encompassing both personal pleasure and responsibility to each other, and the ways our personal progressive viewpoints can shape a better world.

My related reading values consist of active listening, staying grounded and boundaried, and providing a lovely and unexpected experience for the querent. My teaching values are similar, but in teaching I specifically put a strong focus on teaching you to teach yourself tarot! In other words, I help you nurture a profoundly personal connection to your cards that is rooted in critical thinking, creativity, and the things that YOU value.

I am generous, kind and warm-hearted by nature. I also deeply value humor, creative exploration, and queer joy in my own life and work to spread that throughout the things I do as well. My ideal client or student and I probe each other to think more deeply while making each other laugh.
