About my practice
I see tarot as a tool for self-exploration and community care: a way to connect with our own intuition, a method of learning about ourselves and understanding what drives and shapes us, and an opportunity to connect with other people through the cards. With both simple readings and more complex spreads, the cards can communicate advice, opportunities, warnings, and deep insight into situations, connections, and relationships. I’m queer and chronically ill, so one of the main focuses of my practice is to make tarot accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for anyone who wants to engage with this tool, either on their own or alongside other people.
Much of my work involves engaging with the more challenging aspects of being human: grief, transformation, shifts and changes, difficult emotions, or intensive pursuits. I work with a lot of queer and marginalized folks, as well as activists and socially conscious people. It’s my privilege to work to support those who live at challenging intersections, consistently care for others, and are working to make the world a safer, more joyful, and open-minded place.
I bought my first tarot deck in 2016, and it took me a long time to understand how to read with it. So much of my current practice was shaped by the tools that I found and the structures that I explored in the early days of studying tarot. Numerology, astrology, elemental studies, and sensory explorations have all helped me untangle what the tarot means for me, and I love helping others develop an intimate, personal relationship with the cards. If you're interested in developing your own meanings for tarot, if you find yourself lost and confused when working with the cards, or if you need extra support in creating a practice that works for you, you might resonate with my work.
I’m glad you’re here.
Favorite decks
I have a wide range of decks but some of my favorites are the muse tarot, the spacious tarot, the rosebud tarot, the phantomwise tarot, the next world tarot, and the gentle tarot.
Recent testimonials
"Meg's manner of reading is both technical wizardry as well as deeply inspirited. There were confirmations from my own spirit court within pulled cards and the words Meg chose, very much unbeknownst to them at the time. Meg's ability to see the cards and know the precise messages being sent by spirits--and then deliver them with compassion and beauty, is an unequivocal gift. I'm walking into the next phase of my life reassured in my convictions, my concerns fully allayed, and my heart bursting with excitement. Without a doubt I will be booking with Meg again in the future, and I give them my wholehearted recommendation. If you want clear and uncanny messages from the inspirited world, Meg is the tarot reader for you!" — Amaya
"An amazing experience from start to finish. Meg provided helpful basic information about the reading to help me understand it and then went into depth with insight and understanding that resonated so deeply. I know I'll be able to keep reflecting on these things as I move ahead." — A.C.
"I needed a fresh look at a situation I’d been staring at for too long and Meg’s expertise, care, and practical guidance was exactly what I needed to shake myself out of a funk. Meg is the magician card and their hand pointing upward is pointing at the star. Their mercurial wonders of divination and writing oriented me to exactly where I needed to be, helping me move from overwhelmed to clear and brave." — Maeg
"I don’t know a lot about the universe but I do know that Meg has the gift. She read me to my core. She presented a vision of myself that was accurate and kind, and helped me understand where to proceed when a major life change left me feeling completely alone and at sea. Her prose is beautiful and her words are kind and perceptive." — L.F.
"I purchased this reading when I was feeling a little bit lost. The reading deeply resonated with me. Meg gave valuable insight that inspired renewed confidence in myself and trust in my intuition. I am really grateful for that." — Em
My client philosophy
I would love to work with you, and I offer live mentorship sessions, self-paced courses, downloadable studies, and spread collections all designed to empower and inspire you on your own tarot journey. My book is also available at your favorite local bookstore, and I am occasionally open for personal tarot readings.
My practice is defined by respect, authenticity, inclusivity, kindness, and compassion. For me, tarot is best suited to gaining insights and understandings on a situation, challenge, question, or concern. I do not predict the future or outcomes, and will not tell you what to do or how to act, but I can help dig more deeply into an issue and find new understandings of both the situation and yourself.
Please be aware that tarot readings are not a substitute for professional legal or medical advice, and I am not a trained therapist, psychiatrist, or doctor.
